Cereal with Balance

I used to think I couldn’t have cereal in the morning anymore because cereal is pretty much straight carbs. Not so! Throw some cereal over plain Greek yogurt sweetened with a little stevia (or agave or honey) and you’re golden! It’s a quick and delicious way to start your day that’ll stay with you all morning.

Spinach Egg Toast

Fast and tasty breakfast with a little oomph: whole grain toast spread with Dijon or whole grain mustard, ½ oz crumbled feta or goat cheese, a sunny side up egg, and some wilted spinach. Yay protein for breakfast! Thanks to Smitten Kitchen for the recipe.
