The “before” photos were taken after a year of running. I’d only lost 20 pounds by adding that to what I was already doing, but it was so shocking how much running changed my body, even though the scale didn’t move very fast. I was (am!) so proud of how strong running made me.
The difference in the year between these photos is 35 pounds. It’s a transforming 35 pounds. It shows the difference heavy lifting made for me. I don’t run as much as I used to, and miss it sometimes, but lifting is my one true love.
Sometimes it feels like you’re working hard, and things just aren’t happening. Keep going. The results will come.
