On weight-lifting days, I split up my breakfast. I need a little something on my stomach, but I can’t work out when I’m full. I love Quest Bars for before (they are WAY better than other protein bars, both nutritionally and for flavor), and a protein shake after, when I’m wasted. 1 cup frozen berries, ½ cup Greek yogurt, 1T agave, 1 scoop protein powder, and about ¼ cup milk=345 calories, 5g fiber, and 33g protein. I try to get at least 10g fiber in the morning, so thank goodness my Quest bar puts me way over that at 22. I’ll be full until 2 pm or so.
